CNC Machining

WHAT IS CNC TURNING?

While the raw material turns at a rapid speed, the turning centre or lathe remains stable. A single-point cutting tool assists in shaping the material as the workpiece rotates along two CNC turning machine axes (Lathes, by definition, are 2-axis machines. When lathes evolve to include 3-axis, 4-axis and 5-axis capabilities, they became known as turning centre’s). By assisting in the control of the turning centre or lathe, computer programmes help to ensure the creation of minutely accurate components.

Accuracy

Using CAD / CAM files, our CNC machines can produce to precise measurements and reduce human error. The CNC machine is programmed and every cut is exact and repeatable. In other words, the last item produced in a batch is an exact replica of the first item.

Turning centres available in a range of sizes to support the adaptability of your applications. Because the jobs for this machine are preprogrammed, the adjustment is rather simple. By making the required CAM programme programming tweaks, the operator can complete your component or perhaps construct something completely different. As a result, you can trust.

To ensure total safety, manufacturing companies follow strict safety standards and regulations. Less labour is needed because the turning machine is automatic and the operator only needs to watch the machine. WHAT IS CNC MILLING?

CNC milling for metal is a process of cutting metal using Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines. The process involves using a cutting tool to remove material from a workpiece as it moves along an axis. This process is used to create complex shapes and features on the metal workpiece, and is often used to produce parts for industrial machinery and equipment.

MULTI-AXIS MILLING

Multi-Axis Milling refers to a machining process that uses computer numerical control (CNC) technology to control up to 7 axis’s of motion simultaneously (3 translational axes for the movement of the cutting tool, 3 rotary axes holding the workpiece, and an additional axis enabling the rotation of the arm holding the tool head). This type of machining is commonly used to produce components with complex external geometries and internal features. It is used in a variety of industries, from aerospace to medical device manufacturing. The process is typically done on a milling machine, which uses cutting tools to remove material from a workpiece to create a desired shape.

 

The CNC software that controls the process can be programmed to produce a wide range of shapes and components. It can also be used to control the speed and feed rate of the cutting tools to achieve the desired results. The CNC software can also be used to create toolpaths that will ensure the cutting tools are cutting along the desired path. This allows for precise control of the cutting process and results in components that are accurate and consistent.
